About the Journal

Language Research is a peer-reviewed academic journal covering theoretical and applied linguistics and language education, with particular strengths in research on Korean, cross-linguistic inquiry, and language acquisition and education in Korean-speaking contexts. It publishes original research articles, theoretical reviews, and keynote articles. Founded in 1965, the journal is published three times a year by the Language Education Institute at Seoul National University, Korea. Language Research is one of Korea’s longest-established and leading journals in linguistics and language education.
