Authors will be asked to complete a ‘Copyright Transfer Agreement’. Permission of the Publisher is required for resale or distribution outside the institution and for all other derivative works, including compilations and translations. If excerpts from other copyrighted works are included, the author(s) must obtain written permission from the copyright owners and credit the source(s) in the article.
For Open Access articles:
- Articles are freely available to both subscribers and the society members of this journal.
- The Open Access publication fee is payable by authors or their research funder.

Language Research supports transparency and accessibility of scholarly work. While the journal does not currently mandate the sharing of raw datasets, all published articles are publicly accessible through trusted academic platforms, ensuring discoverability and reproducibility of research findings.
